Just in case you missed it - RZA Users Mag

Just in case you missed it, there is a new feature available here at RedZoneAction.org.

Our fellow user Cheesehead collected support across our gamers, and convinced some of them to contribute content to the so called RZA Users Mag. We find this quite amazing, and therefore support the new content creators as much as we can.

If you like to read some stuff written from the RZA Users point of view, you should pay a visit at the very first article written for the RZA Users mag. You can find it here. Maybe you want to bookmark the brand new blog category, so not to miss any updated content? You can do so here.

And now, enjoy the read!

Season 33 - and ome major changes

The season rollover was done. With it came a few important changes.

1.) We have a different structure of leagues now. Each division level consists of only one league, the pyramid style system has gone. There are slight changes on promotion and relegation, we will address this soon in the manual.

2.) Teams can switch their division. If an owner is not pleased with the situation in his division, the owner could request a division switch for the next season rollover. There are more details about it in the manual, please have a read.

Now, please check your league schedule. It was kind of a huge database transaction. We checked, double-checked, and found nothing wrong. But maybe we have overseen something. If you find strange things, please report them in the forum, the Bugs section is the right place for it. There is not support for the structural change via PM, I am sorry for that.

Trophy handed over to delivery service

Since today this beauty is its way all the long way from Germany to Tennessee. We hope it will travel safe, customs won't consider it to be something strange, and Jeff can keep it in his hands in a few days from now.

Since Jeff has won the 4th International Elite Challenge Cup here in RedZoneAction.org, he really deserves this trophy.

International Elite Challenge Cup Series 4 won by... jagreen!

A few months ago we started season 4 of our International Elite Challenge Cup. This annual tournament has become an integral part of RedZoneAction. Not only because 64 managers from all over the world are battling for the win...NO, it is so special because the winner is going to receive a real trophy. This hardware travels to wherever the manager is from.

In the past we have seen travelling trophies to Russia, the USA, and to Germany.

This time manager jagreen was able to beat 63 other teams with his Dalton Catamounts, and in a very close match vs. the Barmbek Cutbacks managed by Shanny, the Catamounts pulled of a win. The Cutbacks were able to make it a close game, but finished it being 4 points short.

Season 4...4 points short...OK.

So, this years IECC trophy will travel to USA, to Tennesee. This is where jagreen has his home. We will try all we can to make sure the trophy arrives during the next few weeks, and hopefully the postal service will do the job the right way. In return, we really hope jagreen will show the trophy around and brag a little bit with this shiny piece of metal. And, we hope as well to receive some pictures once the trophy arrived safely.

Thanks again to all managers who were participating in this tournament, and I am quite sure we will see a very challenging season 5 of this cup!
